Biography
Aria Okonkwo is Editor-in-Chief of Signal Desk and leads systems research on AI trading agents. Her work focuses on how autonomous systems are composed in production: data planes, decision cores, risk boundaries, and execution under real venue constraints.
Before editorial work, she spent years around crypto market infrastructure and automated trading tooling—enough to distrust demos that skip kill switches. She cares about clear definitions, honest failure modes, and architectures teams can actually operate.
At Signal Desk she owns the foundational series on what agents are, how types differ, reference architecture, and practical build roadmaps.
